We've been successfully using Jreviews for two years now. It is an amazing extension for our review section. It is fast, customizable (we've only scratched the surface of the customization capabilities), and mobile-friendly. Great support from the developer and constant upgrades with new features (minor and major) and bug fixes. We are using it to help our audience evaluate software systems for schools.

Alejandro and his team have supported my team since we began working with Joomla and JReviews at least 8 years ago, but in the last couple of years, when we've really needed support for different ventures we were taking, that's when we have relied most heavily on the fantastic support of the team. I had been looking for a reviews component for Joomla for a long time. It was important to be able to create specific fields for the listings and also for the reviews. After trying a lot of different solutions I found JReviews and immediately started playing with the demo site! I was immediately impressed by the flexibility in the custom fields system, allowing you to create different sets of fields for different categories. And the field system is accompanied with powerful search with the advanced filtering module.

I initially bought Jreviews a little hesitantly, worried because I had very specific needs and I knew that I would have to customize it to make it work for me. What a fantastic peice of software. As a non programmer I couldnt afford to pay for someone to do what I wanted, so when I found jreviews, it was a no brainer. The software is very easy to use and set up. The support is the best I have ever come across. We have tried every possible review module/component for Joomla out there and once we got it set up and running this is by far the most extensive and full-featured reviews program out there. Since I bought JReviews I year ago it has not let me down. It is very flexible, easy to customise and very functional. The administrator side of the component provides a lot of options and works fairly easy due to ajax integration.
Support is also great, you usually have your response within the day and bugs are squashed fairly quickly.
I recommend this component to everyone who wants to add extra review functionality to their website and wants to improve the look of their content. You will not regret buying this component.

It's obvious from the get go, that jReviews is one of the most popular, well written Joomla components out there...

But where it really stands out, is the level of dedication from Alejandro in supporting his product. In one day, I got 6 responses from him while we worked through a problem, that he easily could have refused as being outside of normal support for his product. My first response was at 8:30 A.M. until the final, problem solving response at 10:30 P.M. All that, in one day!
